Mr. Marcus Charles Bernard Soori, JD, MBA
Mr. Soori, who plans to attend medical school in the future, has interests in various medical and non-profit disciplines. He is a Co-Founder and President of the Sri Lanka Relief Fund, which is dedicated to benefiting Southeast Asia Tsunami survivors in Sri Lanka. A proud British and American dual-citizen, also having Sri-Lankan heritage, he was born to a British mother and a Sri Lankan father in Rockford, Illinois on March 15th, 1983. His family moved to Omaha shortly thereafter to pursue medical positions, and from birth he was exposed to the many facets of the medical profession. Mr. Soori has been recognized by the Omaha World-Herald newspaper, the Creightonian, and local television stations, for his work in the affected areas of Sri Lanka with the Sri Lanka Relief Fund and its members.
